This Eagle Chase Medal
was hand crafted out of recycled 55 gallon oil drums in Haiti.

6:8 Non-profit does a Food Packing event each year to help feed starving children around the world. Much of our food packed at Sauk Prairie Against Hunger's Pack Event goes to Haiti and some of the folks at Anchored in Hope receive our food. So we thought it was only fitting that we would commission the metal workers in Haiti to design and create our finisher medals. And they did an amazing job. These metals empower 5 fathers in Haiti to support their families. Each medal is created by hand with pain staking details to make an amazing one of kind true piece of art! They are certainly something to be worn proudly at the Finish line.

"We would like to say thank you for your support!!! The making of these medals employed 5 Haitian men for a month! That provided them with the means to provide for their families and put food in their children’s mouths. It may sound simple, but jobs and employment are hard to come by in Haiti, especially these days. I wish I could tell you how many times these guys have asked me if I had more work to give! I always had to say no not yet, but then with this order of the medals we were able to pay these men for the beautiful work that they did. Not only do you get an amazingly awesome medal, but you are providing jobs for men who can provide for their families with dignity. Thank you for partnering with us to better the lives of these Haitians."
